About us

I am Dr. Miklós Daradics, the dentist behind Daradics Dent. I graduated from Semmelweis University in Budapest and spent my summer placements at the oral surgery clinic in Szekszárd. I have been practising for more than ten years since: I ran my own public (NEAK-funded) practice in Budapest for six years, worked alongside it at a private clinic in Érd, and then ran my own dental clinic in Denmark for almost two years. Today I practise in three villages in Tolna County: Tengelic, Gerjen and Dunaszentgyörgy, where we know many of our patients by name. I see patients in Hungarian, English and Danish.
Saving the tooth comes first. If a tooth can be kept with a filling or a root canal treatment, that is what we choose, and extraction is only considered when it is genuinely needed. Even then we talk you through what will happen, and after the procedure you get written aftercare instructions. Before you leave, we also show you how to keep your teeth clean at home, from interdental brushes to a water flosser.
Before every treatment we ask about your medical history and the medicines you take, because they affect the procedure. Instruments are sterilised in a class B autoclave, the treatment room is disinfected after every patient, and patient records are kept digitally, linked to the national EESZT health system. Our 30 hours a week of public (NEAK-funded) practice is complemented by two private afternoon sessions for those who can only come after work or need an appointment sooner.

A denture you forget you are wearing
From October we offer BPS dentures, a Swiss-developed method in which the impression is not taken at rest but while you speak, swallow and move your mouth. The finished denture follows the way your mouth really moves, not a single frozen moment.
- More secure fit: the aim is a denture that stays in place by its own fit.
- More comfortable to wear: fewer pressure points, fewer sore spots.
- Natural look: the shape and shade of the teeth are chosen to suit your face.

Frequently asked questions
What most people ask
My tooth hurts right now. Can I get help straight away?
Yes. With an urgent problem you can come in person during surgery hours without an appointment; you will be seen after the booked patients. If the pain is severe, it is best to arrive at the start of the session. You can see which surgery is open today on the surgery hours page.
What is the difference between the public and the private practice?
Patients registered in our district receive NEAK-funded treatments free of charge in the public sessions. The private practice (Wednesday and Friday afternoons) is for those who can only come after work, are not registered in our district, or want an earlier appointment; there the price list applies. Both can be booked online.
Will the treatment hurt?
We work with modern anaesthesia and always at your pace; if you need a break, we pause. Most of our patients say at the end: "Was that all?"
Can I bring my child?
Of course. We also fill milk teeth: a milk tooth holds the place for the permanent tooth, so it is worth saving rather than waiting for it to fall out. For children the first good experience matters most, and we pay special attention to it.
How can I cancel or change my appointment?
Your confirmation e-mail contains a link that cancels the appointment with one click, so another patient can take the slot. If you cannot find a free time, you can join the waiting list in the booking system and we will e-mail you when a slot opens up.
