Privacy notice
This notice describes what personal data Daradics Dent Szolgáltató Kft. processes when you use the website, request an appointment or receive treatment, why, for how long, and what you can do about it. We have tried to write it in plain language; if anything is unclear, please ask in the surgery or by e-mail. In case of any difference between the language versions, the Hungarian notice prevails.
Effective from 15 September 2026.

2. Applicable law
We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on informational self-determination and freedom of information, Act CLIV of 1997 on health care, Act XLVII of 1997 on the processing of health data and related personal data, and the Hungarian Civil Code.
3. What data we process, and why
3.1. Visiting the website
You do not need to register or give any personal data to view the website. The systems of our hosting provider keep a technical log for secure operation (the visitor's IP address, the time of the visit, the page requested), which the provider retains for a short time according to its own policy. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The website loads its fonts from the Google Fonts service; when it does, your browser contacts Google's servers and transmits your IP address. Google's privacy policy describes this in detail.
3.2. Online appointment booking
From the launch of the online booking system you can request an appointment at our surgeries on this website. For this we process the following data:

We confirm the booking by e-mail and send an SMS reminder the day before the appointment. The confirmation e-mail contains a unique link that cancels the appointment with one click. We also synchronise bookings with the surgery's own calendar so that paper and online bookings do not clash.
If there is no free slot, you can join the waiting list. We then store your e-mail address and the requested day, and notify you when a slot opens up. Waiting-list data are deleted after the requested day; you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the e-mail.
The chosen type of treatment is used solely to reserve a slot of the right length. The online booking system does not store medical records; those are kept in the surgery as described in section 3.5.
3.3. Booking by phone
We do not record phone calls. When you book by phone, we enter your name and phone number in the appointment book so that we can keep the appointment and reach you if necessary. These data are kept in the same way as online booking data, for 1 year from the booked appointment.
3.4. Contact by e-mail
If you write to info@daradicsdent.hu, we process your name, e-mail address and the content of your message in order to reply (legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep the correspondence for up to 1 year after the matter is closed, unless it relates to your treatment and therefore becomes part of your medical records.
3.5. Medical records created during treatment
During dental treatment in the surgery we keep medical records as required by Hungarian health-care law (examination and treatment data, X-rays, treatment plan, quote). The legal basis is the provision of health care (Article 9(2)(h) GDPR and the Hungarian health-care acts). Medical records are retained for the statutory period, at least 30 years under Act XLVII of 1997. Data on publicly funded treatment are reported to the National Health Insurance Fund of Hungary (NEAK) as required by law.
4. Who has access to the data
Data are handled by the staff of the surgery to the extent needed for their work. For our operations we use the following processors, who may process data only on our written instructions and never for their own purposes:

We do not transfer your data outside the European Union. We disclose data to authorities or other bodies only where required by law.
5. Cookies and analytics
The website currently uses no cookies and no visitor tracking. If this changes in the future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.
6. Your rights
You may at any time ask what data we hold about you (access), request their rectification, erasure or the restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and request your booking data in a portable format. The right to erasure does not extend to medical records because of the statutory retention obligation, but you may inspect them and request a copy.
You can make a request at info@daradicsdent.hu or in person in the surgery. We reply within one month.
7. Remedies
If you believe our processing infringes your rights, please tell us first so that we can put it right. You may also bring the matter before a court, including the regional court of your place of residence.
8. Changes to this notice
We may amend this notice if the law or our operations change. The current version is always available on this page, and the effective date is shown at the top.
